An accessibility statement is only useful if it admits the gaps. This one says what the site does, what standard it aims at, what has actually been tested, and what has not.

The standard
WCAG 2.1 AA, via EN 301 549.
- What applies
The European Accessibility Act has applied since 28 June 2025. Its presumed-conformance standard is EN 301 549, which incorporates WCAG 2.1 Level AA. A newer EN 301 549 carrying WCAG 2.2 has been published and is expected to be cited in the Official Journal, at which point 2.2 becomes the benchmark.
- Whether it applies to us
The EAA is aimed at services offered to consumers. A purely business product may sit outside it — but employees are end users, and we would rather build to the standard than argue about the scope of it.

What this site does
Built for keyboards and screen readers.
- Keyboard throughout
Every control is reachable and operable by keyboard, focus is always visible, and a skip link goes straight to the content. The command bar is reachable with ⌘K and closes with escape.
- Structure a screen reader can follow
One h1 per page, headings that descend without skipping levels, landmarks, and labelled navigation.
- Motion respects your setting
Every animation is disabled under prefers-reduced-motion, and nothing is hidden behind an animation that must play for content to appear.
- Text, not pictures of text
Diagrams are HTML and SVG with labels, so they reflow and can be read aloud. Images carry alternative text.
- It works at any width
Down to 320 pixels with no horizontal scrolling, and it survives being zoomed.
